Magic Spray Dark or Glow: what is the difference?
Dark gives an intense, natural summer tan straight away. Glow is a non-tinted formula that builds your tan gently and gradually, with Matrixyl for supple, radiant skin. Unsure, first time, or mainly for your face? Choose Glow. Want colour right away? Choose Dark. Both: plant-based DHA from sugar cane, organic aloe vera, vegan and alcohol-free.
Will my skin turn orange?
BOTAN uses plant-based DHA from sugar cane and is designed to give a natural tan without orange tones. Good preparation (scrub) and the right amount still matter.
How long does a BOTAN glow last?
On average 5 to 7 days, depending on your skin, how often you exfoliate and how well you hydrate. The glow fades gradually, without patches.
How fast will I see results?
The colour develops in 4 to 8 hours. With the Crème Ensoleillée and the Glow spray you build the colour gradually over a few days.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. The sprays, the scrub and the Soin Hydratant are for face and body. The Crème Ensoleillée is for the body. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Does self-tan protect against the sun?
No. A self-tan does not protect against UV rays. Always use sun protection outdoors.
Is BOTAN suitable for sensitive skin?
The formulas are developed for all skin types. Not sure? Patch test on a small area first, for example the inside of your elbow.
How to use
How do I prepare my skin?
Exfoliate 24 hours before with the Gommage Magic Perfection. Shave or wax at least a day earlier. On the day itself, no body lotion, perfume or deodorant.
When can I shower?
Wait 6 to 8 hours. Then rinse with lukewarm water, without soap, and pat dry.
Why a mitt?
The BOTAN mitt spreads the formula evenly and keeps your palms clean. For your back, use the Bandeau.
How do I keep my glow beautiful?
Hydrate daily with the Soin Hydratant Magic and avoid scrubs and chlorine until you want your glow to fade.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with bpost. Pick-up in Schilde is also possible, free and by appointment.
How much is delivery?
Free from €75. Below that: €5.95 in Belgium and €8.95 to the Netherlands or Luxembourg.
When will my order arrive?
We ship within 1–2 working days. bpost then usually delivers within 1–2 working days in Belgium and 2–3 working days in the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
How can I pay?
Securely via Stripe with Bancontact, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL or credit card.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes, you automatically receive an invoice by email. Enter a VAT number at checkout and your company will appear on the invoice.
Can I return a product?
Yes, within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is unopened and the seal is intact. Read everything on the shipping & returns page.
